Light rig on 24 hour Tamiya TB-02

This is a cool example of rigging the lights to the chassis versus on
the body. This is the winning TB-02 from a German 24 hour race last
year. We will have a night race eventually so keep in mind ways to
light up the head and tail lights on your car.

Also notice the closed end-bell motor. The chassis looks pretty good
after 24 hours.

In 2006, this 2WD GT2 car beat all other 4WD GT1 and GT2 cars in late October in the inaugural Salt Lake City ASERS Petit Le Mans. Consistency was the key for Team Professor at the hands of Paul "The Professor" Hatfield and Ryan Sagers. The led the charge of GT2 cars as they swept the podium.

P2 and GT2 cooling option for F103GT cars

Of course this comes out after many of us have already created a heatsink/cooling set up for the F103GT... Here comes something with the cool factor. In typical 3racing speak:

F103GT-31/LB Aluminum Motor Mount With Cooling Fan
Issues date: 2007-02-16
Unbalanced situation of the motor mount exists as F103GT inherits the weakness of F103. The motor is placed ON the right side. Our innovative aluminum motor mount with the lightweight cutting (F103GT-09/LB) undoubtedly improves the overheat situation and it is hard to resist collision. However we announce that F103GT-09/LB is discontinued now.

We reform this motor mount with the cooling fan added as the latest version ----F103GT-31/LB. Putting the cooling fan ON the left improves the unbalanced and overheated situation. The special pattern ON the mount is another main element to solve the overheat problem. With this aluminum motor mount and the center of gravity is low enough for the F103GT to run fast and stable.

Total weight of the motor mount: 53g
