End of the season...

At least for us racers in Salt Lake City. The last month has been a wash as the rains have fallen only on the weekends. For some reason the r/c gods have decided that our season is over. So we look forward to 2008 where the new GT1 series headed up by the Professor and T. Kendall will surely be the one to participate.

Porsche Cup will start its second season with a new title sponsor, Apex Hobby in Orem. This new partnership along with the host of racers involved in the Porsche Cup series will be a fun and exciting run with the upgrade to stock motors and foam tires. The F103GT is a blast to drive on foams. Porsche cars have a distinct appearance and now the speed will be there with the new regulations. Look for this class to expand in Utah for 2008.

I'm still trying to figure out the finishing order for the races I missed held at IR-CR. Without those results I cannot announce the winner of the 2007 Porsche Cup season. $200 smackers from Viking Steel are waiting on those results.

Porsche Cup is just beginning to rev up in Florida. Exciting news has been coming from the sunshine state as their winter on-road season begins in earnest.
